Police Mission Partnership Initiative

Our Mission is to enhance the readiness of the Massachusetts National Guard while increasing public safety throughout the Commonwealth. Our goal is to retain qualified Soldiers and Airmen by providing militarily synergistic civilian police career opportunities.

We are committed to recruiting, training, and retaining highly qualified members of the National Guard through partnerships with the Executive Office of Public Safety (EOPS) and the Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC).

As a member of the National Guard you can apply to attend one of our training courses. Each course is designed to credential Soldiers and Airmen as police officers.

We have trained nearly 200 Soldiers and Airmen all of whom found meaningful employment opportunities upon graduation.

The PMPI in partnership with the Massachusetts State Police will be running a full-time (16 week) academy for Military Police and Security Forces. The enrollment period has begun. Contact your chain of command to be put on the order of merit list (OML).  Seats are limited to 30 Soldiers and Airmen.
