BOSTON - The Military Records Office of the Massachusetts National Guard was recognized for their outstanding efforts to serve the Commonwealth, during the 32nd annual Performance Recognition Program award ceremony held at the Massachusetts Statehouse Oct. 21, 2016.
Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito awarded the Military Records Office with the Manuel Carballo Governor's Award for Excellence in Public Service.
Governor Baker and Major General Gary Keefe, presented the award to Michael Perna Jr, Karen Villani and Geraldine Kingcade.
The award is presented to state employees who selflessly personify a deep commitment to serving the people of the Commonwealth.
