Protection Partnership Program

The Mission of the Protection Partnership Program (P3) is to enhance the readiness of the Massachusetts National Guard while increasing public safety throughout the Commonwealth. Our goal is to recruit and retain qualified enlisted and commissioned Soldiers and Airmen by providing militarily synergistic civilian police career opportunities.

We are committed to recruiting, training, and retaining highly qualified members of the National Guard through partnerships with the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) and the Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC).

As a member of the Military Police Corps or Security Forces Squadron, you can apply to attend one of our training courses. Each course is designed to credential Soldiers and Airmen as civilian police officers.

We have partnered with the Worcester Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police to train over 200 Soldiers and Airmen, all of whom found meaningful employment opportunities upon graduation.
